Jakarta ASN Urged to Quickly Implement Development Programs for Residents

Jakarta Acting Governor, Teguh Setyabudi gave direction to the ranks of state civil apparatus (ASN) under Jakarta Provincial Government, at South Plaza Silang Monas, Central Jakarta, Monday (10/21). In his direction, he urged them to quickly implement all development programs that are beneficial to the community.

According to him, many programs have been implemented by the Jakarta Government and are beneficial to the community. However, there are also many programs that need to be improved in terms of Human Resources (HR).

He also touched on the implementation of the simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) which will take place on November 27, 2024. He urged all ASN elements to participate in making it a success and ensuring that the implementation of the Jakarta Pilkada runs smoothly.
"Let's help make it a success and ensure that the implementation of the Jakarta Pilkada takes place honestly, fairly, directly, publicly, completely, and confidentially. And, cooperation with related stakeholders, because we can't work alone," he explained.
He also appreciated the support of Pemprov Jakarta ASN related to the agenda of the Inauguration of President and Vice President for 2024-2029 Period, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, which had gone well. According to him, synergy and cross-sectoral coordination with various parties were the keys to the success of the event.
Lastly, he also highlighted the vigilance in facing the rainy season in Jakarta. He emphasized that all ASN also pay attention together regarding flood anticipation in various regions. He also ordered all administrative mayors to routinely check and map vulnerable points and mitigate disasters.
"Currently, we have entered the rainy season. Let's anticipate the problems and potential for flooding in Jakarta," he stated.
